God has intervened in my life on more than one occasion. When my wife came into my life, I did not realize then what I know now…how God was involved in our relationship even then. And there are other times. Fifty years ago, there would have been bets against my ever being a preacher. I was a great hypocrite. I wasn't really following the Lord…and I certainly wasn't staying focused on His Will.
Have you found yourself in that situation? Let me assure you--it is not too late. It is not too late for God to intervene in your life, if you will let Him!
There are examples in the New Testament of those who experienced God’s intervention. Saul of Tarsus (who we know as the Apostle Paul) is one of those. He was going to Damascus to arrest more Christians and he thought he was doing right. And then the Lord stopped him. I am glad Paul followed the Lord’s directions. We would have a smaller New Testament if Paul had not let Ananias baptize him (Acts 22:16)!
I can think of others in whose lives the Lord has intervened, and so many of them have come to Jesus, and the church is better because of the Lord’s intervention.
After all…it’s all about Him, isn’t it?
Please remember Romans 8:28: “And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose” (NASV).
